A LIGHT WITHIN REFLECTION
What did you learn to become to survive?
Some of what we survive remains as memory.
Some of it remains as us.
There are ways of being we carry for so long that we stop remembering they were ever learned.
What if some of the things you call you began as ways of surviving?
Perhaps you became the strong one. The one who needed very little. The one who noticed everything, got things right, made themselves useful, and kept going.
And perhaps, somewhere along the way, these ways of surviving became almost indistinguishable from who you are.
That doesn’t make them any less yours.
What Did You Learn to Become to Survive? is an invitation to become curious about the histories our ways of being can carry — and whether what once felt necessary still has to be.
